The L22 Lipid Complex

Barrier B is also formulated with L22, a patented, botanically sourced lipid complex containing a considered balance of lipid components including wax esters, sterol esters, triglycerides, squalene and sterols. Can I use Barrier B with Vitamin C or retinol?

Yes — niacinamide is broadly considered compatible with most other actives, including Vitamin C and retinoids, in modern formulations. If you're introducing several actives at once, it's worth patch-testing and building up gradually.

Is Barrier B suitable for sensitive skin?

Niacinamide is widely regarded as one of the more gentle, well-tolerated actives in skincare. As with any new product, we'd recommend a patch test first.
